Mod Installation Tutorial
Warning
If you're new to modding, please be careful and don't install mods from untrusted sources. Mods can contain viruses and there have been cases in the past where malicious websites have spread malware inside Ready or Not mods.
Mods generated on this website are safe to use as long as you make sure you're on the official website (you can bookmark this page to be sure).
Trusted sources of Ready or Not mods:
1. Open Steam
2. Find Ready or Not
3. Right click on the game
4. Hover over "Manage" and click on "Browse local files"
5. In the file explorer window that opened, navigate to "ReadyOrNot" folder
6. Navigate to "Content" folder
7. Navigate to "Paks" folder
8. Move the mod file you downloaded earlier into this folder
9. Disable "Server side checksum" in your game settings
Playing with others
Generally speaking, all players in your group need to install the same mods if you wish to play together.
For certain types of mods such as AI mods, this can be circumvented by having the host (i.e. you) disable "Server side checksum" in game settings.
Others won't be able to join your lobby if "Server side checksum" is enabled and they don't have the same mods installed.
